* Users may combine MP camera models, however each platform only allows for the total number of recorded megapixels to equal 41.6MP for the V-NVR and 60MP for the V-NVR i7 Pro.

Ex.
(7 x 1.3MP) + (6 x 2MP) + (4 x 3MP) + (2 x 4MP) = 41.1 Total Megapixels (V-NVR)
Ex. (8 x 1.3MP) + (5 x 2MP) + (3 x 3MP) + (2 x 4MP) + (2 x 1.3MP Fisheye) + (1 x 4MP Fisheye) = 60 Total Megapixels (V-NVR-i7Pro)

Remote System Monitoring

By using the CCS (Control Center Server) DVR service, the video from recording cameras can be sent to a remote system for display and/or recording. The remote system is designated to the CCS system. Up to 99 DVRs and up to 500 cameras can be monitored by one Control Center concurrently.

Dynamic DNS Support

A Dynamic DNS service is offered by GeoVision to all V6.0 and later users. This service provides an easy-to-remember domain to fast locate your DVR with a changed dynamic IP address, by constantly updating the IP address of your DVR to the DNS server. Domain name registration is done in the DDNS application.

Remote System Recording/Accessing

Remote security systems can record locally with Internet or client software, and host recordings can be accessed remotely by the client software.

Video Compression:

A choice of Geo H.264, H.264 V2, Geo MPEG4 ASP compression for local recording is selectable by camera (Geo MPEG4 gives about 4 times the compression of Wavelet).

Video Resolution

Camera images can be displayed and recorded in a choice of 720x480, 720x240, 640x480, 640x240 or 320x240 pixels. All cameras images must run at the same resolution although this can be changed at any time.

New Webcam Multi-Function Remote

More useful functions for management of multiple servers (DVRs) is provided through a web-interfaced Webcam application.

Recording Choices

Recording is selectable by camera as continuous or "on motion". Motion detection is performed by the software and sensitivity can be set. A schedule of recording can be set by camera, time and date, as well as I/O and alert schedules.

Digital Watermarking

Digital watermarking can be selected, to prove the integrity of recorded videos. This is particularly useful if recordings are to be used as evidence in court.

Multiple Display Options

Live video can be displayed in single camera or various multi-camera modes. Multi-camera display can be immediately switched to single camera by one mouse click on the desired camera image (and back again by mouse click).

Video Exporting

Video clips can be exported in .avi format, with time and date stamp and played in Windows media player. Single frames can be enhanced for brightness, contrast and sharpness and exported in various graphic formats, or printed directly from the GV software. The backup utility can also be used to assure all codecs and players are embedded.

Communications

All can be turned on or off with just one mouse click. Compression of transmitted images can be set from remote systems as H.264, independent of recording compression of the host system. H.264 will provide much faster transmission. New webcam software allows up to 16 cameras to be viewed on one screen from the same or multiple DVRs.
